Ice Nine Kills unveil Terrifier 3 single and video: “Our most glorious and goresome offering yet”

The vocalist says that to hear SOAD's unreleased songs, fans need to "convince everyone else."
Earlier this year, fans rejoiced to hear that System Of A Down would be touring Europe and the UK in the summer of 2020. Not only was this a chance to see SOAD live, but it seemed to herald that all of the members were on the same page about the state of the band. That may not be the case, however, as it was recently revealed that frontman Serj Tankian has supported a petition asking System Of A Down to release all songs they wrote which never made it onto Mezmerize and Hypnotize -- but made it clear that it was his bandmates who would need convincing.
The Change.org petition, launched by one George Roca, has the following mission statement: "There are countless songs by System of a Down that are unreleased. We as fans would like to peacefully request the release of the songs that were unreleased in Mezmerize and Hypnotize as well as other songs that are unreleased by the band. We have all voted to start this petition in the hopes that the band sees this and releases the unreleased songs from Mezmerize and Hypnotize. Thank you for reading."
Now, a Serj Tankian fan Instagram account has posted the following screenshot of an interaction between George's page and Serj Tankian's own Patreon, in which George asks if Serj has seen the petition… and gets this response:

It should be noted that this isn't necessary Serj speaking against or commenting on his bandmates' thoughts and feelings about System Of A Down -- only that he's behind the idea, but the others might not be.
