Download tease “the next chapter” of Sleep Token at 2025 festival
With this year’s Rituals all done and dusted, Download Festival are teasing that Sleep Token fans can “witness the next chapter” at Donington in 2025…
Get ready: there’s less than one month until Download Festival reveal more than 60 bands for next year’s line-up…
Download Festival have just announced… an announcement!
Ahead of next year’s highly-anticipated Donington Park weekender – which is dubbed DLXXII – the fest have revealed that they’ll be making their first big line-up unveiling at ‘an exclusive metal gala launch event’ in London on Tuesday, November 12, with the news then of course expected to fly out on social media straight afterwards.
Even more excitingly, they’ve shared that more than 60 bands and artists will be revealed at this time. Download Festival will take place from June 13 – 15, 2025, with early bird tickets still on sale at a cheaper price up until the night before the first announcement (Monday, November 11).
In September, it seemed as though the festival might be teasing Green Day as 2025 headliners, tweeting: “Summer is officially over. Wake us up when it’s June.” (Possibly referring to Wake Me Up When September Ends.)
This also ties in with the fact
that Billie Joe Armstrong and co. will be on this side of the pond to play some
European festivals in June and July, so we’ll see if they might make their Download debut?
