System Of A Down add new stadium dates with Korn, A7X and Deftones
System Of A Down’s previously-announced stadium dates with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones have already sold out, with the band adding second nights in each city.
Would A7X ever do a City Of Evil tour? How does Shadows manage his mental health on the road? This is interesting stuff…
No stranger to Reddit's Ask Me Anything series, Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows had a super-interesting chat with some very inquisitive fans yesterday, and we learned a lot. Be sure to check out the full thing right here, but in the meantime here are some of our favourite revelations…
M. Shadows on Disney…
"Love Disney with the kids. I'm not sure about what song we would cover… suggestions?"
M. Shadows on his favourite albums of the year so far…
"I've heard the new Atreyu and it's great… but you haven't. :)"
M. Shadows on managing mental health on the road…
"Meditation – very little drinking – eating healthy – lots of sleep and working out."
M. Shadows on dream tours with any band – past or present…
"We’re pretty excited for this summer with Prophets of Rage. Past though… Pantera."
M. Shadows on Avenged doing a City Of Evil tour…
"Probably not. At least not anytime soon. I don't have much interest in revisiting old albums in full when we are continuing to tell our story through new music."
M. Shadows on the stage set-up and setlist on their upcoming End Of The World tour…
"The set-up is constantly evolving, like The Stage! We like to keep people in their toes. For setlist you’ll just have to come to a show and see."
M. Shadows on Star Wars: The Last Jedi…
"Haven't seen it."
M. Shadows on doing a new Avenged Sevenfold DVD…
"I wanna do something for Netflix for free… DVDs are the past… streaming is the future."
M. Shadows on if he prefers the left or right side of a Twix…
"Left."
So there you have it. Good stuff, eh?
Catch Avenged Sevenfold headlining Download in the summer. Let's hope Shadows has seen Star Wars by then…
And across the pond, see the band touring with Prophets Of Rage, Three Days Grace and Ho99o9…

There's no chance of a City Of Evil tour just yet – but that doesn't mean you can't blast it out anyway, right? What an album.
