They’ll be back in Europe in June, but Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows confirms the band have a one-off U.S. gig in their calendar next year.
After announcing a “special” European summer tour last week, Avenged Sevenfold frontman M. Shadows has revealed that the band only have one live date in their home country planned for 2025.
The Huntington Beach metal heroes have been busy in 2024 celebrating their latest album Life Is But A Dream…, touring North America, headlining Download for the third time, and even doing a very cool 25th anniversary throwback gig performing material from 2003 second album Waking The Fallen and 2005 follow-up City Of Evil.
But next year will seemingly be a more selective one for A7X, with their singer taking to X yesterday to post that, “We will only be playing 1 show in the United States in 2025.” He also revealed that their Deathbats Club members will have access to tickets for 24 hours starting today (December 9), so watch this space because it sounds as though it will all be announced very shortly. And, knowing Avenged, with it being a one-off show, they will inevitably make it a very memorable one…
Announcing next year’s Euro shows, the band said in a statement: “Europe, we told you we’d be back for more. We are looking forward to playing some new countries we’ve never been to before in some stunning unique venues. Everything from a historical prison in Lithuania, to a gorgeous limestone quarry in Sweden – we can’t wait to have a special evening together.”
