Watch the absolutely awesome new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine

As promised by Ryan Reynolds, the brand-new Deadpool & Wolverine has just arrived – and it’s killer.

Starring Ryan as Wade Wilson and Hugh Jackman as Logan – this time, in the classic yellow and blue suit from the X-Men comics – this brand-new two-and-a-half-minute look at the Marvel blockbuster gives away much more than February’s first trailer.

Of course, that initial trailer didn’t show much of Wolverine at all, whereas now we’ve got much more of an idea of where he’s at, and why he’s joining forces with Deadpool now. There’s also a proper look at Emma Corrin as Cassandra Nova – aka the evil twin sister of X-Men’s Charles Xavier – not to mention some sneak-peeks at other characters and cameos…

Speaking with Screen Rant earlier this month, director Shawn Levy said of the motivation to bring together these two iconic characters: “Well, I’ll tell you that the guiding thought in crafting the movie was audience joy. That was always the North Star. Yeah, it’s going to be gnarly. Yeah, it’s gonna be funny. That’s a given. But we wanted to build a great time at the theatre for audiences, and that’s our goal.”

Deadpool & Wolverine hits cinemas on July 26.
