Marvel unleash first Deadpool & Wolverine trailer during Super Bowl

The first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine premiered during yesterday’s Super Bowl, and it looks unsurprisingly awesome.

The new Marvel epic – which arrives in cinemas on July 25 – will bring together Hugh Jackman’s legendary Logan and Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson (or “Marvel Jesus” as he refers to himself in this trailer) for what will very clearly being an action-packed and typically R-rated movie.

And though this first look at Deadpool & Wolverine doesn’t give a massive amount away in terms of the storyline, there’s a Loki crossover in there with an appearance from the Time Variance Authority (TVA), and a look at Succession favourite Matthew Macfadyen as new character Paradox. Elsewhere, the cast includes Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni, with Shawn Levy in the director’s chair.
