Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
Slipknot performed a very special, intimate set at London's Maida Vale studios
Last month, Slipknot played their smallest gig in over 20 years. Following their mammoth sellout show at London's O2 Arena, the Iowan wrecking crew entered the capital's iconic Maida Vale studios to play an incredibly intimate show to just over 100 lucky fans.
The Nine blasted through a six-song set – picking one song from each record – including Devil In I from .5: The Gray Chapter, which they so far haven't been playing on tour.

The set was recorded by the BBC for the Radio 1 Rock Show, with the full set being broadcast live last night. The intense, close-up chaos was also filmed by the Beeb – two songs of which, you can watch below.
Last week, Slipknot announced the second annual Knotfest Roadshow tour of North America, including A Day To Remember, Underoath and Code Orange.
“We set a precedent last year – Knotfest is a showcase where you never know what to expect,” said frontman Corey Taylor. “This year is no exception. The bands we have represent all corners of our musical world, just like we do. And they’re exciting as hell. I can’t wait to watch and enjoy them along with the rest of the fans.”
You can catch The Knot on tour across Europe and America at one of the dates below.
