Mighty shredder and longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde has revealed that he won't be featuring on the Price Of Darkness' upcoming album.
Last month, Ozzy announced that a new album was on the way in a video shared on social media. The as-yet-untitled album reportedly took just four weeks to make, and it was Ozzy's collab with Post Malone that sparked such rabid creativity.
However, Zakk (who has worked with Ozzy since 1988's No Rest For The Wicked album) has said that he's not on the record.

“We didn't do anything on that. Ozzy, he just jammed with some friends that he knows. He was just, like, 'Hey, Zakk, I ended up tracking some stuff,’ and I was, like, 'Oh, great, Ozzy,'" he told the Cassius Morris Show.
“That Post Malone thing I heard was awesome. Post came down to a Black Label Society show half a year ago – before the Ozzy thing. He came down and was like, 'Hey, Zakk, what's happening?' A really cool guy.
“When I heard the track, Ozzy sounds great on it, man. But no, I didn't have anything to do with the stuff that Ozzy just recorded."
But lovers of Wylde have nothing to worry about, as Zakk said, "we could always get together and record another thing. So it's all good, man."
Ozzy was recently forced to postpone his UK and European leg of No More Tours II for the second time due to his health.
While recovering from a bout of pneumonia, the former Black Sabbath frontman fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating previous injuries from a 2003 ATV accident that required surgery. Or, as Ozzy put it in a video on social media, “This fucking neck thing I’ve got.”
“I’m not dying, I am recovering, it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would.
“I’m bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you’re going to have to be a bit more patient.”

The North American tour is still in place, and Ozzy has promised he’s going to “Knock your fucking socks off.”
