Avenged Sevenfold have announced that they’ll be revealing their new drummer this Wednesday.
The Huntington Beach titans have found the replacement to the departed Arin Illejay, and will be announcing who the lucky sticksman is on Chris Jericho’s November 4 episode of the Talk Is Jericho podcast.
After Arin Ilejay parted ways with the A7X back in July, the Internet was rife with eager drummers posting audition videos to YouTube. The band took to their website last month to confirm that they’d been working with their new band member for over a year already.
“While we appreciate the overwhelming interest and support we thought it would be the right thing to do to let everyone know that we already have someone,” they said. “In fact, we have been working with this person for over a year now to make sure that it was a correct fit before making any sudden changes. When we have more to share we will be sure to do that.”
Who do you think it could be? And who would you like to see drumming for them? Let us know your thoughts!
