Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
On his new track Like I Ain't, rapper and Corey Taylor collaborator Tech N9ne calls out Slipknot and their fanbase.
Rapper Tech N9ne doesn't need to prove himself to anyone -- as he mentions in Like I Ain't, a track on his new album N9NA, he's rapped on tracks his hip-hop heavy hitters like Tupac and Eminem. He also needs no introduction to metalheads, who most likely know him from his track with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. Now, Tech is shouting out his friends in the band and their fanbase, calling them out by name in a verse on Like I Ain't.
On the track, Tech rhymes the following:
"Like I'm tryna be the best up in this hip-hop (Cheah)
And do a track with the king of Atlanta, T.I.P.-top<
Then turn around and switch it up, do big rock
Tryna ride all the way up to my homie in Slipknot, MAGGOT!"

And if you haven't seen it, here's his collaboration with Corey Taylor:
Corey's become well known for collaborating with hip-hop artists of late; just this week, Kerrang! premiered the video for Stuck In My Ways, his new track with British rapper Kid Bookie.
Describing the themes behind the song, Bookie told us, “I wanted to capture rage, energy, the attitude of a 21st century depressive piece of shit that only cares for the music and music only...Merge my favourite sonics and create a five-minute visual madness, set the precedent of being fearless within the bracket of sound. I hope you lot understand that.”
