Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
We all knew it anyway, but now Slipknot have finally taken to social media to confirm that former Sepultura man Eloy Casagrande is their new drummer.
Slipknot have at long last confirmed the identity of their new drummer!
It’s something we all suspected for a good few weeks now anyway, but a new post on their Instagram account of all nine members has notably included a tag for former Sepultura sticksman Eloy Casagrande – so it’s definitely official now.
Eloy himself hasn’t yet posted anything about joining the masked legends, but of course he’s been pretty damn busy these last few days playing his first shows with the ’Knot: initially there was the tiny Pappy + Harriet’s comeback gig last Thursday, and then over the weekend it was their much bigger Sick New World co-headline set.
Check out the post below:
Notably, on this new Instagram photo there are eight tags in total out of the nine, and the missing band member’s account is that of Craig Jones’ as-yet-unknown replacement. But maybe we’ll one day find out who they are in a similarly subtle way?!
