We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
Slipknot are bringing Knotfest to the UK next summer
British Maggots have been crying out for it for years, and now Slipknot's Knotfest is coming to the UK.
Taking place at Milton Keynes Bowl on August 22, 2020, Knotfest UK will be 'a mind-altering collision of music, art and culture' according to the poster below.
Knotfest UK will be the first time Slipknot have played The National Bowl in Milton Keynes since their infamous Ozzfest 2001 performance.
No other bands have been announced for the all-dayer just yet, with the full line-up and other onsite activities scheduled to be announced in early next year.
Knotfest Japan takes place in March 2020 and features the likes of Anthrax, Marilyn Manson, Korn and Trivium.
As well as Knotfest hitting UK for the first time next year, it will also take over the high seas, as the inaugural Knotfest Cruise sets sail from Barcelona, Spain, on August 10.
Tickets for Knotfest UK will go on exclusive pre-sale to Outside The 9 fan club members on December 19 at 10am. Sign up here.
But the UK doesn't have to wait until August to get their dose of Slipknot, as they're touring the UK and Ireland in January 2020 with Behemoth. Get your tickets here.
