It’s been an eventful couple of months in the Ozzy Osbourne
camp, with The Prince Of Darkness having to cancel his UK and European No More
Tours II due to not being “physically capable”, and announcing his retirement
from touring.
A couple of days later he quickly clarified that he still wanted
to play live where possible, and yesterday (March 30) confirmed that he was on
the line-up for California mega-event Power Trip – also featuring Guns N’
Roses, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Metallica and Tool – in October.
In a new interview on TalkTV, Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon
told Piers Morgan that her husband is “doing so much better”.
“I think I told
you about it the other night, but now it’s been announced,” Sharon added of
Power Trip, “we can talk about it. He’s doing a show [on] October 6 in America.
It’s at the Coachella site. It’s gonna be a great show: Guns N’ Roses,
Metallica, AC/DC, Ozzy…”
With Piers then asking if “the rocker is still rocking”, Sharon
agreed: “He never stopped. He’s back.”
