The Judas Priest frontman is writing his memoirs and he promises "full disclosure"
It's the book Judas Priest fans have always wanted – Rob Halford's memoirs.
Last year, Rob revealed plans to write a book about his life, and has now announced he hopes to have it published late next year.
Speaking to Ultimate Classic Rock about the book, The Metal God said he has already started work on it and he's not going to pull any punched.
“There’s no point in putting a book together if you don’t have full disclosure, in my opinion," said Rob.
“Since I’ve been clean and sober, I’ve probably been more honest and truthful about myself than I ever have been. You only get a chance to do it once and do it properly.
“I’m excited, but I’m also apprehensive as we move along because you don’t know what you should include: Should I say this, should I say that?"

But it's not going to be a blow-by-blow account of life in Priest, Rob wants the book to be less of an autobiography and "more of a memoir."
He says, "It’s going to have a lot of things in there that you’re going to go, ‘Oh, I’m not really interested in that.'
“You’re also going to go, ‘Oh my god, I never knew he did that!’ But it’s going to make you feel happy, it’s going to make you feel sad. It’s going to make you feel angry, it’s going to shock you.
“It’s going to have all of the things that I think have been in most people’s lives.”
Rob is certainly keeping himself busy at the moment. Not only is he writing a book, but he's releasing a Christmas album on October 18.
