From Dimebag to David Bowie: The icons who inspired Baroness’ Gina Gleason
When Baroness’ Gina Gleason plays her guitar, you listen. She’s the coolest and the best. Hardly surprising, when she’s looking up to icons as rad as these…
Armed with latest album Invincible Shield, Judas Priest have revealed 12 massive European shows next summer.
Judas Priest have just announced the excellently-named Shield Of Pain tour.
The heavy metal legends will be taking latest album Invincible Shield (and 1990’s Painkiller, based on that title?) out on the road throughout Europe next summer for 12 massive dates.
Speaking to Kerrang! earlier this year, frontman Rob Halford told us of the meaning behind his band’s latest record: “I don’t want to put myself on a pedestal, but I normally come up with the titles. In the world of heavy metal, the band, the fans, the metal community, it’s all about the Invincible Shield. It’s defending the faith. We’re still defending the faith, all these years later.”
Hell yeah, they are. Catch Priest defending the faith at the following:
