Mad Cool reveal first names for 2025 including Weezer, Thirty Seconds To Mars and St. Vincent
Weezer and Thirty Seconds To Mars join the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Iggy Pop and Noah Kahan atop next year’s Mad Cool Festival bill.
Refused have confirmed their first live show in four years, as well as their “last festival performance in Sweden”, at Rosendal Garden Party in June.
Refused have announced their first live performance since March 2020.
The Swedish hardcore punk legends will return to the stage in their home country at Stockholm’s Rosendal Garden Party in June, with their day also featuring performances by Turnstile and M.I.A.
Interestingly, a statement on the festival’s website has revealed that this will be the band’s final festival performance in Sweden: “After four years away from the stage, the time has finally come. An exclusive concert, their only show and their last festival performance in Sweden. Ever. Make it count, gather everyone you know.”
Refused themselves haven’t commented on the situation, and whether or not this means another hiatus – or even a break-up – is on the way…
