Pearl Jam are (rightfully) continuing to celebrate the 28th anniversary of their incredible MTV Unplugged set this year, having now just premiered the full thing on YouTube for the first time.

Before uploading the show, the Seattle grunge heroes had released a limited-edition version of the live album for 2019's Record Store Day, and then made it available again on vinyl, CD and streaming platforms on October 22 this year. And now, because it's simply impossible to get bored of the stunning seven-song set, the performance has been shared in full for all to watch.

As well as a typically stellar setlist – Oceans, State Of Love And Trust, Alive, Black, Jeremy, Even Flow and Porch – frontman Eddie Vedder is on particularly fine form for MTV Unplugged, famously scrawling PRO CHOICE on his arm and growing ever more passionate and untamed as the set plays out. Endlessly captivating stuff.

For those wanting to hopefully see Pearl Jam live again one day, the band recently announced two gigs in London’s Hyde Park for July 9 and 10 next year, after this summer’s planned gig was nixed due to COVID-19. Already announced to join Eddie and co. are alt.rock legends Pixies, and Bristol punks IDLES.
