The 2025 GRAMMY nominations are here, with Spiritbox, Knocked Loose (featuring Poppy), Green Day, Pearl Jam, IDLES, Metallica and more all up for awards.
Pearl Jam have confirmed who will be joining them at their American Express presents BST Hyde Park double-header in July!
Pearl Jam have announced the support for their massive London dates this July.
The rock legends will headline two nights of the American Express presents BST Hyde Park gig series on July 8 and 9. Having previously announced that the Pixies would be joining them on the first date, Pearl Jam have now confirmed that Cat Power, White Reaper, The Murder Capital, The Glorious Sons, Simon Townshend, La Luz and Sick Joy will also appear.
Then, the following day, Stereophonics will be special guests, with Imelda May, The Last Internationale, La Luz, JJ Wilde and The Wild Things all also playing.
These will be PJ's first UK gigs since 2020's Gigaton album, though Stone Gossard also told Kerrang! last year that he'd like to "make another record that really shocks people".
"There’s some new territory there, and I think it bodes well for whatever comes next," he said. "I think we’re still scratching the surface in terms of what really could be significantly different sounding songs. I guess I would probably compare [what I’m thinking of] to an OK Computer/Kid A moment, thinking about Radiohead’s transformation and the journey that they went on."
When asked if that moment still lays ahead for the band, Stone considered, "I hope so. It’s not going to be OK Computer, obviously, but a moment where we stumble onto something that is significantly different. That prospect always intrigues me. I’d like to make another record that really shocks people – that makes them go, ‘Wow, that’s unexpected!'"
