Just months ahead of his rescheduled UK and European run, Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to postpone the tour again due to his health.
Ozzy had to postpone his entire No More Tours II 2019 tour earlier this year. While recovering from a bout of pneumonia, the former Black Sabbath frontman fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating previous injuries from a 2003 ATV accident that required surgery. Or, as Ozzy says in a new video on social media, "This fucking neck thing I've got."
"At the beginning of this year I had a bad fall, I screwed all the vertebrae in my beck and had to have surgery. I’ve got more nuts and bolts in my neck now than my car," says Ozzy.
“I’m not dying, I am recovering, it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would.
“I’m bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you’re going to have to be a bit more patient."
Despite the European run with Judas Priest being postponed until a later date, the North American tour is still in place, with Ozzy promising he's going to "Knock your fucking socks off."
He also reveals that a new album is on the way, so perhaps we'll hear some new material on the 2020 tour!
From everyone here at Kerrang!, get well soon Ozzy. See you on the road!
