The big review: Good Things Festival 2024
Sydney gets rocked as Korn, Loathe, Sleeping With Sirens and more take a noisy pre-Christmas trip down under…
Drummer Brann Dailor revealed via Instagram that the band is already working on new songs.
It has been a crazy fucking year for Mastodon. The Atlanta stoner metal giants lost their manager, Brent Hinds revealed the extent of his gnarly hit-and run-accident he only recently recovered from, and now the band has a huge European tour to embark on.
So one would forgive the dudes for wanting a little time to catch their breaths and take it easy before recording their eighth studio album. But apparently, that's not the case, as Drummer Brann Dailor just posted the following picture of him and guitarist Bill Kelliher to his Instagram:
Given that Mastodon's latest full-length is anticipated to drop in 2019, it stands that this is what Dailor and Kelliher are working on material for. Then again, the band has also been releasing EPs on and off of late, so this might even be a pre-album album.
Hopefully, the band will reveal more soon. In the meantime, make sure to get your head wrung out at one of Mastodon's upcoming European live dates listed below:
