Spiritbox, Knocked Loose, Green Day, Pearl Jam and more nominated for GRAMMYs
The 2025 GRAMMY nominations are here, with Spiritbox, Knocked Loose (featuring Poppy), Green Day, Pearl Jam, IDLES, Metallica and more all up for awards.
Pearl Jam have officially unveiled another new track from Gigaton, after fans had to point their phones at the moon last week to first hear it.
After initially teasing new single Superblood Wolfmoon via the actual moon last week, Pearl Jam have now unveiled their latest track for all to hear.
Superblood Wolfmoon was partially unveiled last Wednesday to budding astronauts, with fans who wanted to hear the new offering from the band's upcoming LP Gigaton having to download a PJ app and then point their phone at the moon to be able to check it out.
“We’re honoured to be working with Pearl Jam to bring their music to life through technology blended with the elements of nature that inspired their tone,” said Powster CEO and creative director Ste Thompson of this out-of-this-world (pardon the pun) release strategy. “This activation displays their innovation and creative energy going into their new album. Adapting to new technologies and integrating platforms unleashes the full potential of music, as well as changes the way fans experience new sounds, and we are excited to be teaming up with Pearl Jam to provide their fans with this exclusive look at their style and artistic direction.”
Now, though, Superblood Wolfmoon has hit streaming services – so you can hear it even if it's a cloudy night…

Pearl Jam's Gigaton is set for release on March 27. Of the album, Mike McCready says: “Making this record was a long journey. It was emotionally dark and confusing at times, but also an exciting and experimental road map to musical redemption.
“Collaborating with my bandmates on Gigaton ultimately gave me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in these times.”
Meanwhile, the band are touring North America in March and April this year, before hitting the UK and Europe in the summer. Get your UK tickets here.
