Guns N’ Roses reveal 2025 tour with Public Enemy, Rival Sons and Sex Pistols
Guns N’ Roses have announced a huge new headline run for next year, entitled the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour.
“That’s life, sometimes things don’t work out…”
Izzy Stradlin has addressed his absence from Guns N' Roses' Not In This Lifetime tour with a short statement.
As told to The Wall Street Journal, the original GN'R guitarist – who left the band in 1991 – says: “The current GNR tour has been a great success for the guys. My nonparticipation was simply not being able to reach a happy middle ground through the negotiation process. That’s life, sometimes things don’t work out.”
WSJ also reached out to Guns' manager, Fernando Lebeis, who declined to comment on the aforementioned 'negotiation process'.
With Izzy being the only original member to not play with the reunited line-up (Steven Adler performed with Axl, Slash and Duff twice in 2016), it looks like we'll still have to cross our fingers for a miracle that it might happen one day…
You can catch Guns N' Roses headlining Download Festival in June.
