blink-182 to release eight new songs on ONE MORE TIME… PART-2 album
blink will be releasing ONE MORE TIME… PART-2 in September – but before that, new song ALL IN MY HEAD is dropping this Friday!
The new Angels & Airwaves album – which "has been three years in the making" – is ticking along very nicely according to Tom DeLonge.
Tom DeLonge is continuing to ramp up the excitement for Angels & Airwaves' next album, sharing that there are finished songs that are currently being mixed right now – and that this record is "our best yet".
It's a show of confidence that the frontman has been expressing for a while now regarding the follow-up to 2014's The Dream Walker, telling Kerrang! at the end of 2019 that the full-length is "probably going to be the best of my life". Clearly, then, this long creative process is continuing to work wonders, as Tom shares on Instagram now that the record has been "three years in the making".
"What a great day," he writes. "Sending five songs off to be mixed – the final stage in a song's evolution from the birth of the idea, to over 100 tracks diligently crafted with sounds, passion and goosebumps.
"Soon, another five songs will be sent over in the next couple weeks to close out this chapter. This Angels & Airwaves album has been three years in the making, and it’s our best yet. Thank you for all your patience, support and love."

Previously, the musician told K! of AVA's next LP: "I have a lot to say, and I’ve been gone for a while, so I feel like I’m more prolific a songwriter than I’ve ever been. Angels & Airwaves aren’t pigeonholed into any one particular sound, and our fans are absolutely feverish about what we do and the message of the band. They really support who we are, so it’s a really great spot to be in."
At the start of 2021, the band teased that "if all goes as planned, songs will be ready to roll out this spring". So watch this space…
