Funeral For A Friend announce two massive UK shows for 2025
Funeral For A Friend – fronted by Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland – will hit Leeds and Cardiff for their only UK dates of next year…
Holding Absence’s planned European run with As Everything Unfolds in March has been cancelled “due to the growing uncertainties around COVID-19 and Brexit”.
Holding Absence have announced that their Live And In Colour 2022 tour has been cancelled.
The band were due to hit Europe with As Everything Unfolds between March 3 and 23, kicking off in Antwerp and finishing up in Paris. Unfortunately, though, "due to the growing uncertainties around COVID-19 and Brexit", the whole thing has been scrapped.
"We are deeply disappointed to announce the cancellation of our upcoming EU headline tour alongside As Everything Unfolds," Holding Absence share in a statement.
"This tour has been booked for over two years, and in that time we have tried our absolute best to make this run happen. But due to the growing uncertainties around COVID-19 and Brexit, it does not feel like a responsible decision to let this tour go ahead as planned.
"We would love nothing more than to come back to the EU and finally play some headline shows for you guys, and we are already working on a new tour in replacement.
"For now, if you have purchased tickets, you can receive a refund via your point of purchase.
"We love you all and to our friends in the EU, we’ll see you soon."
As it stands, HA are still set to support Funeral For A Friend in the UK this March, before heading over to the U.S. in April and May with Dayseeker.
