From L.S. Dunes and Lamb Of God to GEL and GWAR, here’s what went down at Chicago’s legendary annual takeover of all things punk, metal and alternative…
It’s been a long time coming, but Lamb Of God finally kicked off their UK tour last night, and they did not come to mess around…
Last night, Virginian metal legends Lamb Of God made their long-awaited return to Manchester with friends Kreator and Municipal Waste. Following their headline set at Bloodstock festival last year, this marks the band's first proper tour of the UK since 2018, owing to the pandemic and a series of postponements.
With two full-lengths under their belts since their last trek around our shores (2020's self-titled and last year's Omens), Lamb Of God unleashed a 14-track career-spanning setlist onto Manchester Academy – from the savage opener Memento Mori through to the closing mosh-pit anthem Redneck.
The tour continues in Bristol tonight, stopping off at Birmingham and Norwich, before a huge headline show at London's OVO Arena Wembley on March 21 – having been moved from Brixton O2 Academy. If you're heading along to any of these shows, here's what's in store...
