Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross make two shortlists for 2025 Oscars
The 97th Academy Awards shortlists have been revealed, with Nine Inch Nails up for Best Original Score and Best Original Song.

Though we now won't be seeing them live at all this year, we will get to hear some of Nine Inch Nails' recent creative endeavours this month courtesy of Halsey's album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, which Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross produced.
And while we're still yet to hear a full song from the record to find out exactly how NIN have influenced the New Jersey star's music, Halsey has shared another new trailer for the album's accompanying IMAX movie, soundtracked by a pulsating and really quite rocky song. Previously, teasers from the record have ranged from the heavy to the lighter and more electronic, so we can probably expect all sorts of genres to come…

If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power – the record – will arrive in full on August 27, while showings of the "album and film experience" will hit IMAX cinemas around the world on August 25 and 26.
