Stream Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ new score for Apple TV+ film The Gorge

As well as prepping themselves for this year’s mega Peel It Back World Tour, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been typically busy doing even more movie work.

This time the duo have scored the new sci-fi horror The Gorge, which is out today (February 14) on Apple TV+ and stars the likes of Miles Teller, Anya Taylor-Joy and Sigourney Weaver.

Recently speaking with MovieWeb, director Scott Derrickson said of wanting to recruit the NIN men for the job: “They read the script, really liked it, and when we Zoomed together, I said to them, ‘You guys are my favourite composers, and the reason why is because your scores, the score you do for each movie, isn’t just bolstering the image. It’s not just reinforcing what’s already up there on the screen. It’s not just adding to the emotion that you’re supposed to be feeling in a scene.’ Instead, their scores are always adding a third thing that’s not there.”
