Guns N’ Roses announce departure of drummer Frank Ferrer after 19 years in the band
Guns N’ Roses have confirmed the “amicable exit” of their longtime drummer Frank Ferrer, who played his last show with the band in November 2023.
Glastonbury have made their first proper line-up announcement for 2023, with Guns N’ Roses set to headline alongside Arctic Monkeys and previously-announced Sunday night headliner Elton John.
After Duff McKagan pretty much already spilled the beans in January, Guns N’ Roses have officially been announced as one of this year’s Glastonbury headliners.
GN’R will be sandwiched between fellow headliners Arctic Monkeys (Friday) and Elton John (Sunday) at the legendary Worthy Farm fest, which takes place from June 21 – 25. Speaking to The Guardian, co-organiser Emily Eavis says of Guns’ upcoming slot: “They’ll be brilliant and provide something totally different to the rest of the headliners.”
Elsewhere, Måneskin, Royal Blood, Manic Street Preachers, Nova Twins and Rina Sawayama have all been announced, with many more still to be added to the line-up.
