Here’s what some of your favourite rock stars dressed as for Halloween 2024
From Stranger Things to Alien to IT, the rock and metal scene made sure to embrace this year’s spooky season…
Watch My Chemical Romance's Frank Iero teach people how to play his guitar parts in The Ghost Of You and Welcome To The Black Parade.
In a fantastic new video for Fender, Frank Iero has given a tutorial on how to play his guitar parts in two iconic My Chemical Romance songs.
For new series Fender Artist Check-Ins, the guitarist films himself in his basement while quarantining, revealing, "Fender contacted me and asked if I'd want to do some playing and maybe a tutorial, and I figured, 'Yeah, that'd be really fun, because I've been playing at home anyway!'"

First, Frank discusses and plays Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge's emotional, epic fourth single The Ghost Of You, revealing that he likes playing the track a lot, and he remembers writing it "in a basement studio just like this".
Then, the guitarist runs through his parts on The Black Parade's masterpiece of a lead single, Welcome To The Black Parade, stating, "This song is just really fun to play. There's a lot going on with movement and octaves, and it's what I would say is a really good example of what I love about writing in My Chem."
Bonus: as well as hosting this wonderful walk through memory lane, Fender are making a donation to MusiCares for each artist that participates in their Check-In sessions, supporting musicians who are struggling due to the many costs and income losses because of coronavirus.
