Album review: Employed To Serve – Fallen Star
Going supernova! Brit metal heroes Employed To Serve smash all boundaries on exhilarating, perfect fifth album, Fallen Star.
With new album Heritage arriving this Friday, Distant have unveiled its title-track – which features the one and only Will Ramos of Lorna Shore.
Following their massively ambitious single Argent Justice featuring 16 deathcore vocalists, Distant have unleashed another new single – but this time featuring just the one other deathcore titan: Lorna Shore’s Will Ramos.
Will lends his unmistakable vocals to Heritage, which is the title-track from the band’s new album (due out this Friday, February 10, via Century Media).
The band call the song “a playful and colourful track”, adding that, “Heritage is a breathtakingly heavy track yet still emotional, with a huge chorus and pace to last you for days, showcasing the diversity of our Dutch/Slovak collective!
“At last, the father and son cross blades; during this exhausting battle, they remember the times forgotten as the clash of their blades sparks new light and brings up the twisted revelation of this catastrophic deception.”
