From joining $uicideboy$ for the annual Grey Day tour to supporting Korn at the band’s biggest UK show ever, Denzel Curry has got a busy summer ahead of him. But before all that, the alt. rap superstar will be releasing a new full-length.
Denzel has just announced details of massive new collab project King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2 – a 15-track record featuring the likes of A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Juicy J, Kenny Mason and more, which celebrates the ‘great musical heritages of the
South’ according to a press release.
As its title suggests, Vol. 2 is a sequel to Denzel’s 2012 mixtape King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 1 (Underground Tape 1996), and this time around hears him performing under his Big Ultra persona instead of the predecessor’s Raven Miyagi.
King Of The Mischievous South Vol. 2 is due out in full on July 19 via Loma Vista Recordings, with new single HOT ONE (featuring TiaCorine and A$AP Ferg) out now – listen below:
