Iron Maiden have announced their new touring drummer
Following Nicko McBrain’s retirement from touring, Iron Maiden have revealed that “a name familiar to many of our fans” will be stepping in next year.
Just make sure, ahem, your colours don't run...
Iron Maiden artwork is the best artwork. And if you’ve ever wondered what legendary artists Derek Riggs, Mark Wilkinson and the rest of the fine painters who’ve brought Eddie and his mad worlds to life over the years feel like putting brush to canvas and making visual magic… well, you’ll probably never properly know.
But you can get close now. The good people at Rock N’ Roll Colouring have just released the world’s first fully-licensed Iron Maiden book, so you can feel like you’re creating metal masterpieces like the cover of The Number Of The Beast for the first time with a fraction of the work. Plus it’s a lot more fun this way.
The book features a load of detailed frameworks of iconic Maiden sleeves, including Somewhere In Time, Killers, and Powerslave, and even the killer Samurai Eddie from this year’s Senjutsu.
The book’s available from December 8, more info here.
