Two weeks on from the first announcement, a second wave of songs have been added to the new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 official soundtrack.

Interestingly there’s a real mixture here, with returning bands from the original games along with fresh additions. Posting about the decision behind this on Instagram, Tony writes: “It was my choice to pick some different songs by the same artists featured in THPS3+4 OST. I’m hoping that discovery is half the fun, and a big reason that these soundtracks resonated in the first place. So listen and enjoy the ride. More to come… both old and new.”

In the ‘returning’ category, Iron Maiden’s 2 Minutes To Midnight will be on this remaster – whereas before, The Number Of The Beast was on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4; also, Shavo Odadjian’s new band Seven Hours After Violet are in there, which is presumably a nod to the fact that System Of A Down’s Shimmy was in the same instalment back in the day (“So amped to be a part of this game again with my new band @sevenhoursafterviolet!” comments Shavo. “Thank you Tony”).

New additions include the likes of 100 gecs’ Hollywood Baby, KennyHoopla and Travis Barker’s hollywood sucks//, and Boys In The Better Land by Fontaines D.C.

A blurb for these updated games announces that, “Everything you loved is back, but revamped with more skaters, new parks, gnarlier tricks, eardrum shattering music, plus a whole lot more.”
