Following on from their 2017 live Nightmare video, Avenged Sevenfold are keeping the gig footage coming with an epic performance of Hail To The King, filmed from the soundboard at their 2018 show in Quebec City.
As frontman M. Shadows explains at the beginning of the clip, the show was in support of their incredible 2016 album The Stage, with a more otherworldly production to match the themes of the ambitious record. The vocalist also adds that this gig in particular was a special one for an A7X superfan, Walnuts: it was their 100th time watching the band. Fair play!

Though we have no idea yet when we can expect the follow-up to The Stage, bassist Johnny Christ said back in June that the Huntington Beach metallers have been “working for a long time on new material”.
“I can’t verify how far in we are or anything like that,” he said. “And it’s not even me trying to be secretive or anything like that. There’s so much going on in the world right now, for me to get people’s hopes up and then something has to switch last minute, I would be very irresponsible if I gave any kind of information of where we are in the process.”
