System Of A Down add new stadium dates with Korn, A7X and Deftones
System Of A Down’s previously-announced stadium dates with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones have already sold out, with the band adding second nights in each city.
Avenged Sevenfold are back! Watch their new video for comeback single Nobody, taken from their just-announced eighth album Life Is But A Dream…
Avenged Sevenfold have just dropped their first new music since 2016 album The Stage!
After all sorts of wild teasing, the Huntington Beach titans have unleashed epic new single Nobody, along with an accompanying stop-motion video directed by Chris Hopewell.
Nobody is taken from A7X’s upcoming eighth album, which as fans figured out is entitled Life Is But A Dream, and is due out on June 2 (pre-order it here). While they’re not revealing too much yet, a press release states that the record ‘was inspired by the writing and philosophy of Albert Camus’, and is lyrically rooted in ‘existentialism and absurdism’. Can’t wait.
Speaking to Kerrang! in December 2020, frontman M. Shadows teased: “The record sounds nothing like The Stage – it’s a completely new direction, and it sounds nothing like anything we’ve done. That’s all I’ll say about it: it’s over the top, and it’s very eclectic and wild!”
To coincide with this huge announcement, the band have also just confirmed two huge live shows: they’ll be playing Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on June 9, and New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 23. Tickets for these gigs go on sale this Friday, March 17.
