System Of A Down add new stadium dates with Korn, A7X and Deftones
System Of A Down’s previously-announced stadium dates with Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones have already sold out, with the band adding second nights in each city.
Avenged Sevenfold's Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ and Brooks Wackerman have covered Misfits' Hybrid Moments "to kick off the Halloween season"…
While we're still awaiting actual new Avenged Sevenfold music, three members of the band – guitarist Zacky Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ and drummer Brooks Wackerman – have joined forces for a new Misfits cover in the meantime.
The trio have tackled Hybrid Moments to mark October 1, and Halloween being right around the corner. "We wanted to have a little fun with you to kick off the Halloween season," shares Zacky. "Brooks wanted to do a Misfits song. I wanted to paint my face like KISS and call ourselves the KISSFits and Johnny wanted to drink and walk around town dressed like a skeleton. I forgot to paint my face like KISS.
"We still kept it punk rock and spooky for ya! Enjoy!!"

Fingers crossed we'll be hearing about actual new A7X material soon too, as the band – completed by vocalist M. Shadows and guitarist Synyster Gates – are planning to release the follow-up to The Stage before they return to the road in 2022.
"The reason we don’t say much about the music is because we find that every single word we say about it just gets spun off, and there’s no way to describe music; it’s like, 'Oh, it’s heavy, it’s fast…’ What are we gonna say about it?” Matt said of the situation back in July. "It’s a work of art that we’ve worked on for a long time, we had a bunch of personal things that we’ll explain later… but we’re booking shows for next summer, and the record will be out before then.”
Anyway, watch Zacky, Johnny and Brooks cover Hybrid Moments below:
