From L.S. Dunes and Lamb Of God to GEL and GWAR, here’s what went down at Chicago’s legendary annual takeover of all things punk, metal and alternative…
Guitarist Mark Morton says we'll be getting a new Lamb Of God album soon…
It's no secret that Lamb Of God spent their 2019 working on a brand-new album – the follow-up to 2015’s VII: Sturm Und Drang – and now it sounds as though we'll be getting to hear the results of their efforts very soon.
In a new interview Eddie Trunk on his SiriusXM Volume show, guitarist Mark Morton revealed that, as well as having just released his new solo album Ether, the Virginia metal kings also have a record on the way.
“2020 is going to be nuts – from Lamb Of God particularly," Mark said. "We’ve got new music coming soon and I really couldn’t be more excited about it.
“There’s a whole fresh new energy in the band and it’s our first recordings with Art Cruz. He’s been playing drums with us for a couple of years, but these are our first songs we’ve written and recorded with him.

“It’s just a thrill to see these things come to life and I couldn’t be happier with how the record’s turning out and I’m excited for the world to hear that. There’s going to be a lot of touring around that so we’re going to be super busy on the road.”
EXCITING!
