Alt.pop upstart phem has released a lyric video for their new single, playing house.

Showing phem gleefully taking a baseball bat to a children's kitchen toy, the track itself isn't one of aggression, but much more serene in nature, as the green-haired singer looks ahead to the next part of her life and musical career.

“This song represents a beautiful ending to a chapter I've been hoping to close for some time now," says phem. "I'm not happy, I'm not sad, I'm neutral. Here comes Phase 3.”

Posting about the song on Instagram, phem added, of her phemily fanbase, "most importantly thank you. The love is so deep. Your support this year meant more than you could ever know and I'm looking forward to showing you what’s in store for 2025."
