YUNGBLUD: “I made a f*cking rock opera double album”
Having been busy putting together the line-up for next year’s Bludfest, YUNGBLUD has revealed he’s also been working on music that “looks like it’s going to be a double album”.
The Doncaster singer’s chaotic video shoot for new single Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today was reportedly shut down by police at London Southbank.
YUNGBLUD is back to his riotous antics and this time the artist invited his fans to join him at a water-soaked performance of his new single, Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today.
Taking to social media, the Cotton Candy singer asked fans to participate in the filming video, posting: “Come to Southbank at 3:30pm. No age limit, no applications, come after school, come after work, bring signs, dress how you fucking want. The theme is: ‘Don’t feel like feeling sad today’. Oh yeah, and maybe you might want to bring a water pistol.”
In a follow-up message, he shared further details: “Meet me at Festival Pier, Southbank, 3:30pm.”
Ever since, YUNGBLUD has been seen in clips armed with a water pistol and interacting with fans. Videos have also emerged of the artist performing his unreleased single, Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today, onstage near the London Eye.
According to Dork, YUNGBLUD’s video shoot was later shut down by the Metropolitan Police following concerns of overcrowding in the area.
Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today is dropping on June 29.
