You Me At Six are planning “wakes” for their final tour
You’ll be able to mourn the Weybridge wonders’ passing properly before each show…
New music from You Me At Six is set to arrive this week.
Ahead of this month's performances at Reading & Leeds as well as September's new Gunnersville festival, You Me At Six have revealed that new music is coming very soon.
Posting a clip of guitarist Max Helyer in the studio seemingly recording the opening of a can of beer, the five-piece simply tweeted, "NEW MUSIC THIS WEEK" as the caption.
Later, frontman Josh Franceschi cryptically added: “It’s true we do. It’s gonna do things to you. I apologise for nothing.” Ooooh…
Stay tuned for new music arriving ASAP, then.
You Me At Six will hit Reading & Leeds at the end of August, performing alongside the likes of Royal Blood, Twin Atlantic, iDKHOW, Bowling For Soup and PUP on their respective days.
Then, in September, the band will be performing all of their singles in chronological order as they headline Gunnersville.
“We wanted to celebrate a pretty mad 18 months for us as a band so when Gunnersville approached us to headline one of the days we knew straight away what we wanted to do,” Josh says. “To celebrate the new era of You Me At Six we are going to play all our singles in order – from Take Off Your Colours to VI! It’s gonna be a hell of a night and the line-up is amazing. We can’t wait!”
