Following Knocked Loose and Poppy's incendiary performance on Jimmy Kimmel last week, the mighty Body Count have announced that they'll be bringing the energy to the other Jimmy's late-night chat show on December 4.

Posting on social media, the hardcore veterans simply stated "Catch us on the Tonight Show on December 4th... You don’t want to miss this" with suitable knife and fist emojis. Frontman Ice-T followed up the news of their pending appearance on The Tonight Show with a simple "Oh…. Shit..!"

Body Count released their eighth full-length Merciless earlier this year, a record we described in our review as, "an album which initially goes in hard on horrorcore lyrics, before broadening out into social reportage and geo-political comment. Along the way, there are guests galore and one piece quite unlike anything else the band have put their name to."

The 'unlike anything else' comes in reference to Body Count's surprising and staggering cover of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb, featuring David Gilmour himself. Check it out below.
