Following the release of the Arcane: Season 2 original soundtrack’s lead single last week (Paint The Town Blue by Ashnikko), it seems as though twenty one pilots might be teasing their involvement on the musical side of the hit Netflix show.

The hugely successful League Of Legends animated series will arrive for its final instalment in November, with the show confirming that the full tracklist will arrive ahead of time – in fact, it should be coming “later this week”. @ArcaneShow also revealed that “we hear some of our artists are dropping hints on their socials over the next few days. How many will you find? The hunt is on.”

Well, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun could very well be in that bunch of hint-droppers, because they’ve taken to social media to share a graphic with the caption: “If dangerous ideas didn’t excite the imagination, we would never wander astray.”

Of course, given twenty one pilots’ extensive lore, this could mean literally anything. But it also happens to be a quote frm the first season of Arcane, so it’s got to be that, right?

Speaking with Tudum, co-creator Christian Linke says of this upcoming series and what else is to come: “Arcane is just the beginning of our larger storytelling journey and partnership with the wonderful animation studio that is Fortiche.

“From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means the story of Arcane wraps up with this second season. But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

twenty one pilots return to the UK at the following dates next year:

May 2025

5 Glasgow, UK @ OVO Hydro Arena
6 Birmingham, UK @ Resorts World Arena
8 Belfast, UK @ SSE Arena Belfast
9 Dublin, IE @ 3Arena
