Mad Cool reveal first names for 2025 including Weezer, Thirty Seconds To Mars and St. Vincent
Weezer and Thirty Seconds To Mars join the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Iggy Pop and Noah Kahan atop next year’s Mad Cool Festival bill.
"Welcome to the dark side…"
Weezer have confirmed the release of their new Black Album, as well as unveiling a single and several tour dates.
The band's new effort (the fifth in their 'colour' albums and 12th overall) is due out on March 1 next year, and was produced by TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek. The Black Album is, interestingly, also the first-ever Weezer record written entirely on piano by frontman Rivers Cuomo (the songs were later taken into the studio, of course). Pre-order it now right here.
The band have also just announced a bunch of fresh European shows that stop at the following:
June 2019
29 London O2 Academy Brixton
July 2019
2 Hamburg Stadtpark
4 Utrecht Tivoli
7 Bologna Sonic Park
8 Zurich Xtra
Check out Zombie Bastards below.
The new album artwork looks like this (obviously).
