Who are Slipknot’s fans?
We head down to Slipknot’s Here Comes The Pain tour in Manchester to meet the Maggots that had their lives changed forever by nine masked men from the cornfields…
14-year-old drummer Maren Alford's cover of Slipknot's Unsainted kicks ass!
Since its release in May, Slipknot's Unsainted has become the biggest metal song of 2019. Go on, name a bigger one. See! You can't! It's racked up over 36 million plays on Spotify and has been the subject of various reaction videos across YouTube. And it's been covered by one 14-year-old drummer...
Maren Alford, drummer for Not Ur Girlfrenz (who played Vans Warped Tour for the past two years) has uploaded a handful of drum covers to her YouTube channel over the past year, including Paramore's Misery Business and My Chemical Romance's Welcome To The Black Parade – but this has to be the best yet.

She says in the video description that Slipknot's sticksman Jay Weinberg is one of her favourite drummers.
"I'm excited to cover one of his songs - the moment I heard Slipknot Unsainted I knew this was the one," it continues.
And, let's be fair, she smashes it. Imagine being this good at drums at 14 – she's even got Jay's headbanging down to a fine art. Check it out for yourself.
Slipknot are currently touring the world in support of their latest album We Are Not Your Kind.
Clown recently announced that they would be releasing the eleven tracks recorded during the All Hope Is Gone sessions at some point during this album cycle. Corey Taylor went on to reveal that the album is called Look Outside Your Window and it has "much more of a Radiohead vibe."
"I mean, there’s no real way to describe it. It’s experimental, but it’s super vibey, super melodic. It’s really good. It’s hard to explain," said the vocalist.
“There’s something about those songs... They’re very solemn, very energetic, very artistic. For people who are used to a certain way of Slipknot sounding, this doesn’t sound anything like that."
