Here’s what some of your favourite rock stars dressed as for Halloween 2024
From Stranger Things to Alien to IT, the rock and metal scene made sure to embrace this year’s spooky season…
The Longshot covered three Green Day tracks live in Oakland, California.
Billie Joe Armstrong's ace side-project The Longshot are currently playing a series of super-tiny shows in the U.S. – and they're treating those lucky enough to have gotten tickets to one hell of a setlist.
As well as performing a bunch of tunes from their Love Is For Losers album, the quartet – completed by fellow Green Day musician Jeff Matika on bass and vocals, David S. Field on drums, and Kevin Preston on guitar – have unveiled live covers from the likes of The Ramones and The Rolling Stones, plus music from Billie Joe's day job.
Focusing on music solely from Green Day's 2012 trilogy (Uno!, Dos! and Tré!), the band dropped Stay The Night, Fell For You and Missing You into the setlist in Oakland on June 7 and 8, and there's some absolutely fantastic fan-shot videos from the intimate gigs on YouTube.
