The first trailer for this month’s At The Drive-In/The Mars Volta documentary, Omar And Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird, has been released.

Ahead of its arrival in cinemas on November 20, Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala have given fans a two-minute look at what’s to come from their eye-opening and clearly very honest movie.

Indeed, a synopsis details how ‘immense artistic success gave way to deep personal fissures that ended their musical partnership in 2013, and inflicted wounds that would take more than a decade to heal’.

With ‘hundreds of hours’ of footage from Omar chopped down to form this film, … If This Ever Gets Weird is set to document the pair’s ‘intense and profound journey as they navigate success, addiction, tragedy, betrayal, forgiveness and, ultimately, redemption’.
