Watch rapper Danny Brown cover Korn’s Freak On A Leash live

A surprising but genuinely cool video of rapper Danny Brown covering Korn has hit the internet.

The Detroit musician was at Radius in Chicago last night (December 15) for the Red Bull SoundClash, which saw him performing / battling with and against hyperpop rapper Rico Nasty. As part of the multi-round show there was a mid-way covers section, in which Rico took on Chief Keef’s Faneto, and Danny tore through Korn’s nu-metal classic Freak On A Leash with his live band.

Fan-shot footage uploaded to YouTube by Doog Nukem shows the rapper channeling Jonathan Davis in the verses and choruses pretty damn well, though an adidas tracksuit-wearing vocalist comes out for the iconic scat in the bridge…
