Relive Mannequin Pussy’s knockout double-header in London as the band take you inside the action…
Last November, Mannequin Pussy played two sold-out shows at The Windmill in Brixton – a grassroots south London venue, that's had everyone from Bloc Party to Frank Turner to ...Trail Of Dead through it doors. As bassist Bear Regisford says, “you can feel the energy” of past experiences in the room.
Ahead of the band's new album I Got Heaven, released tomorrow (March 1) on Epitaph, Mannequin Pussy take us inside the chaos of their live shows, while also playing tourists in the Big Smoke – it wouldn't be a trip to London without a stroll down the south bank, after all.
“Walk around a slice of London with us as we get ready for our back-to-back sold-out shows at The Windmill. These shows were so special to us since it was the first time we got to perform new songs in the UK," say the band.
"Shout out to Martyna for being the absolute best to explore the city with!”
I Got Heaven is released March 1 via Epitaph – pre-order or pre-save now.
