Watch Ghost Perform Intimate Acoustic Show

While Ghost might be more at home in the grandiose settings of theatres decked out as cathedrals, they don't always need the pomp and ceremony to give you goosebumps.

American radio station 101WKQX from Chicago invited Cardinal Copia and his band of Nameless Ghouls into The Lounge for a special acoustic performance to a handful of lucky fans. While still in full Prequelle mode, the band serenaded The Lounge with Rats, Meliora's Cirice and Jigolo Har Megiddo from 2013's Infestissumam album.

Earlier this year, frontman Tobias Forge confirmed he was already working on the follow-up to last year's Prequelle album.

"I have tons of bits and pieces and stuff written, and I know that once I really start working that there’s going to be a record which feels very inspired," he told Billboard. "The dramaturgic nature of the records and the stories are getting more and more intertwined nowadays, which I like."

Ghost are supporting Metallica in the UK in June. Metallica are headlining the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on June 18 (get your tickets now) and Twickenham Stadium in London on June 20 (get your tickets now).
