Travis Barker reveals he’s recorded two albums in the past two months
blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been very busy in the studio since the band got back from tour…
My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way joined Tom DeLonge and co. onstage to run through blink-182's classic single First Date.
A ridiculously cool video of Gerard Way performing with blink-182 way back in 2011 has resurfaced.
While music fans continue to twiddle their fingers and wait patiently for the return of live shows, both shiny new livestreams and old YouTube videos are seemingly providing some much-needed relief away from the doom and gloom of the world in 2020. And one such example of this is an awesome video of My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way singing First Date (via AltPress).

The onstage collaboration came about on the 10th anniversary of the Honda Civic Tour nine years ago, which featured both blink and My Chem on the bill (as well as support bands like Alkaline Trio, Rancid and Jimmy Eat World at select dates). During this gig in particular, blink frontman Tom DeLonge was reportedly "under the weather", and therefore recruited Gee to step in for the 2001 Take Off Your Pants And Jacket classic.
Not only does Gerard's voice fit perfectly on First Date, but it also looks like everyone onstage and in the room is having the absolute best time. Enjoy:
